The Marriage Course

The Marriage Course is a seven week course designed to encourage and strengthen marriages and give you time each week to talk and spend time together.

Clifton Community Church has already run the course twice and is registered with Relationship Central as a church that hosts the course.

It is run on a Sunday starting at 5 pm and finishing by 7.00 pm.   The evening will include a light tea of sandwiches and a dessert. The course is hosted by Rob and Trudi Parkes who are leaders at the church. Each session consists of several presentation videos followed by each couple having time to talk about different topics and a workbook that is supplied to take notes in.

The atmosphere is relaxed and informal with individual tables laid out for each couple that also give you enough space to talk to each other. Clifton Hall is an ideal venie for the course as the upper room is comfortable and includes kitchen and audio visual facilities.

If you are interested in attending the next course or would like to find out more please contact us through the contact page to register your interest and provide your contact details. There is no charge for the course and you can find out more about it through the relationship central website run by Holy Trinity Brompton.

The course is for every marriage, young or old and those struggling or enjoying married life together. Even those married a long time have told us they have benefitted from attending the course. The videos are professionally put together and the aim is to provide space for reflection and conversation rather than telling you ‘how it’s done’.

We believe marriage is an important institution and want to do all we can as a church to encourage and strengthen marriage for those in our church, community and town.

We look forward to hearing from you.  As a church we meet every Sunday, 10:30am at Clifton Hall and you are welcome to come along if you would like to talk to us more about the course or just find out a bit more about us.
