Open the gates, open the doors – Psalm 24

Tim Cross challenges us to expect God to move in our lives and in our church based on Psalm 24 which was used when the Ark of the Covenant, symbolising God’s presence, was brought back to Jerusalem. If we want God’s presence in our church and lives we have to follow the principles of this Psalm. We need right living, right thinking and a right relationship to God and to others. We also need to expect God’s presence which is why the Psalm calls us to speak to the doors and tell them to open so that God’s presence can be at the centre of our lives.
