School clubs

The church has had an interest in Christian work in the schools for some years. Currently we are involved at 2 middle schools where we run after school clubs. These are:-

What is Salt Club?

Salt Club is a Christian club which meets after school at Thomas A Becket Middle School.

What isn’t Salt Club?

Salt Club isn’t a cooking club, an eating  salt club or a salt discussion club!

What do we do?

We have songs, DVDs, crafts, games, and Bible verses to learn. It’s  lots of fun!

When is it?

Salt Club is after school from 3 – 4 pm on Monday afternoons, term time only.

Where is it? In the cellar, the salt cellar! Get it? No, that’s just a joke, we meet in  the French room.

Who runs it? Jenny Baldwin and Tracey Wainwright run the club. Both have CRB certificates.

Who can come? Anyone in the Middle school who has permission from a parent or guardian may come. The consent form is here: salt club leaflet.

How much does it cost? There is no charge.
